Two separate projects carried out in partnership with Swansea Housing Association.
Argyle Yard and Coastline House were new build developments of special needs bungalows with adaptations included such as car ports, security entry systems and hoists etc. There were particularly demanding aspects that needed to be overcome on these projects with access to the site restricted to a 2.5m wide in a densely populated residential area for Argyle Yard and a shared access way and limited storage area for Coastline House.
Ongoing interaction with the client and the end user were needed on these developments to ensure that these essential requirements were achieved. We helped manage the client's budget on a target cost plus basis, introducing value engineering and cost improvements along the process which allowed both schemes to be delivered on time and within budget.
